We're looking for Backend PHP Engineers to participate in building our web applications and API within the existing ecosystem.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of commercial development experience, i.e., proven experience as a PHP Engineer with a strong background in PHP development.
- Familiarity with Zend Framework and the ability to work with legacy code.
- Experience developing and integrating APIs.
- Proficiency in MySQL or other relational databases.
- Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in defining requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal solutions.
- Develop and maintain backend logic and APIs for the existing monolithic PHP-based system.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize the existing codebase to improve performance and stability.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken, to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
