We are the team behind an existing mobile app for Android, built with Ionic and Angular. Now we are extending the app to the web platform, using the existing Ionic codebase to keep consistency and save development time.
We are looking for a skilled Angular Engineer who will take charge of converting our current Ionic mobile app into a fully functional web application and maintain it as we keep developing and improving the product.
Responsibilities:
- Convert the existing Ionic Angular mobile app into a responsive web application;
- Identify and implement necessary changes to adapt the UX/UI for web users while maintaining brand and feature parity;
- Work closely with designers, product owners, and backend developers to deliver new features and improvements;
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices;
- Optimize the web application for performance, accessibility, and SEO where applicable;
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and contribute ideas to improve the product.
Requirements:
- Strong experience developing web applications with Angular;
- Experience with Ionic Framework and understanding of its components, capabilities, and limitations;
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3;
- Experience building responsive, cross-browser compatible, and mobile-friendly web applications;
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend apps with backend services;
- Experience with debugging, profiling, and optimizing web apps;
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and deliver results;
- Good communication skills.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) or pre-rendering techniques for Angular;
- Knowledge of Progressive Web Apps (PWA) concepts;
- Familiarity with testing frameworks;
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
