We are looking for a Senior React Native / Expo Developer to join our team.
Must-have requirements:
- 4+ years of commercial React Native development experience, with strong TypeScript skills.
- Hands-on Expo development, including EAS Build, environment configuration, and native development builds.
- Experience with application deployment and release processes for iOS, including certificates, provisioning, TestFlight, and App Store Connect.
- Strong understanding of offline-first applications, local SQLite databases, data persistence, synchronization queues, and retry/error handling.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and handling authentication/session state in mobile applications.
- Practical experience troubleshooting native dependencies, iOS build issues, and compatibility problems during React Native / Expo upgrades.
- Experience with state management, preferably Redux Toolkit.
- Ability to reproduce and debug issues on real iOS devices.
- Comfortable taking over an existing React Native application rather than building one from scratch.
Nice to have:
- Expo SDK 53/54 migration experience.
- React Native New Architecture, legacy bridge, native modules, and TurboModules.
- Expo SQLite, SecureStore, and EAS Update.
- Camera, document scanning, OCR, and PDF-viewing integrations.
- Android build/release experience.
- OpenAPI-generated TypeScript clients.
- Experience protecting offline business calculations and synchronization with automated tests.
