We are seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer to develop and maintain our automated testing framework across UI, API, performance, and security testing. The role focuses on expanding test coverage, integrating automation into CI/CD, and ensuring reliable test execution across environments.
QA Automation Tech Stack
- Frameworks: Playwright, pytest;

- Data Modelling & Validation: Pydantic;
- Test Reporting: Allure;
- Test Management (TMS): Qase;
- CI/CD & Repository: Bitbucket Pipelines (Qase + Allure integrations).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and maintain automated UI and API test suites;
- Implement cross-browser testing with Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge;
- Expand API test coverage, including schema validation, contract testing, and business workflows;
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, including PR smoke, nightly regression, and pre-release suites;
- Implement and maintain performance/load tests with Locust;
- Configure and run automated OWASP ZAP security scans;
- Collaborate with developers, PMs, and DevOps on test environments and execution;
- Monitor pipeline results, analyse failures, and maintain test stability;
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to test automation best practices.
Must-Have Requirements
- Experience as an Automation QA Engineer in a SaaS environment;
- Strong Python and pytest skills;
- Hands-on experience with Playwright;
- Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines;
- Strong API testing skills, including requests, schema validation, and contract testing;
- Experience with performance/load testing using Locust or similar tools;
- Experience with security testing using OWASP ZAP or equivalent;
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum cross-functional teams.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in LegalTech or document-heavy domains;
- Experience with AWS, Docker, and LocalStack, particularly S3/SQS;
- Experience with test data management, including Faker, seeded data, and API-based setup;
- Familiarity with quality gates and CI/CD tools such as SonarQube, Pylint, and coverage thresholds;
- Experience identifying and reducing flaky tests.
